These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Altris Ventures LLC ("Altris Ventures," "we," "our," or "us") governing your access to and use of the website located at altrisai.net and any related subdomains (collectively, the "Site"), as well as any content, functionality, products, and services offered on or through the Site.
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not access or use the Site. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Site.
If you are accessing the Site on behalf of a company, organization, or other entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms, in which case "you" refers to that entity. If you do not have such authority, or if you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Site.
The Site is operated by Altris Ventures, a seed-stage venture capital firm focused on enterprise software, SaaS, and B2B technology companies. The Site provides information about Altris Ventures' investment activities, team, portfolio, and perspectives on enterprise technology, as well as a means for founders, investors, and other interested parties to contact the firm.
The Site is intended for informational and professional networking purposes only. It does not constitute an offer to sell or a solicitation of an offer to buy any securities, investment products, or investment advisory services. Nothing on the Site should be construed as investment advice, financial advice, legal advice, or any other form of professional advice. You should consult with appropriate professional advisors before making any investment or other significant business decisions.
The Site and its entire contents, features, and functionality — including but not limited to all text, photographs, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software — are the exclusive property of Altris Ventures or its content suppliers and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.
Limited License. Altris Ventures grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site for your personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms. This license does not include any right to resell or commercially exploit the Site or its contents; to collect and use any product listings, descriptions, or prices; to make any derivative use of the Site or its contents; or to use any data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction tools.
Restrictions. You may not: (a) copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Site or any of its contents; (b) frame or mirror any part of the Site without Altris Ventures' prior express written consent; (c) use any metatags or other hidden text using Altris Ventures' name or trademarks without Altris Ventures' prior express written consent; (d) use the Site in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Site or interfere with any other party's use and enjoyment of the Site; or (e) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion or feature of the Site, or any other systems or networks connected to the Site.
Trademarks. The Altris Ventures name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of Altris Ventures or its affiliates. You must not use such marks without the prior written permission of Altris Ventures. All other names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans on the Site are the trademarks of their respective owners.
By using the Site, you agree that you will not engage in any of the following prohibited activities:
4.1 Unlawful Use. Use the Site in any manner that violates any applicable local, state, national, international, or foreign law or regulation, including without limitation any laws regarding the export of data or software to and from the United States or other countries.
4.2 Harmful Conduct. Engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use or enjoyment of the Site, or which, as determined by Altris Ventures, may harm Altris Ventures or users of the Site or expose them to liability.
4.3 Fraudulent or Deceptive Activities. Transmit or submit any communication or content that is fraudulent, deceptive, misleading, defamatory, obscene, offensive, or otherwise objectionable.
4.4 System Interference. Use any robot, spider, crawler, scraper, or other automated means or interface not provided or authorized by Altris Ventures to access the Site or to extract data; introduce any viruses, Trojan horses, worms, logic bombs, or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful; or attempt to gain unauthorized access to, interfere with, damage, or disrupt any parts of the Site, the server on which the Site is stored, or any server, computer, or database connected to the Site.
4.5 Impersonation. Impersonate or attempt to impersonate Altris Ventures, any Altris Ventures employee, another user, or any other person or entity, including by using email addresses or screen names associated with any of the foregoing.
4.6 Commercial Use. Use the Site for any commercial solicitation purposes, including to advertise, promote, or offer to sell goods, services, or business opportunities, unless expressly permitted in writing by Altris Ventures.
5.1 Informational Purposes Only. All content on the Site is provided for informational purposes only. Nothing on the Site constitutes financial, investment, legal, tax, or other professional advice. The content is not a substitute for professional advice from a qualified advisor who is familiar with your particular circumstances.
5.2 No Offer or Solicitation. Nothing on the Site constitutes an offer to sell or a solicitation of an offer to buy any securities, investment products, limited partnership interests, or other financial instruments. Any offering of securities by Altris Ventures or its affiliated funds would be made only pursuant to a private placement memorandum and only to investors who qualify as "accredited investors" under applicable securities laws.

Venture capital investing involves substantial risk, including the risk of total loss of invested capital.

These links are provided solely for your convenience and informational purposes. Altris Ventures has no control over the contents of those sites or resources and accepts no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them. If you decide to access any of the third-party websites linked from the Site, you do so entirely at your own risk and subject to the terms and conditions of use for those websites.
References to third-party companies, products, or services do not constitute an endorsement or recommendation by Altris Ventures unless explicitly stated. Third-party content or links do not imply any affiliation with Altris Ventures except where expressly noted.
You may choose to submit business plans, pitch decks, financial information, technology descriptions, or other confidential business information to Altris Ventures through the Site or through email communications. By submitting such information, you acknowledge and agree that: (a) Altris Ventures will treat submitted information as confidential and will not publicly disclose such information without your consent, subject to any legal obligations to disclose; (b) Altris Ventures may review submitted information for investment evaluation purposes and may share it with partners, advisors, and consultants who are bound by appropriate confidentiality obligations; (c) Altris Ventures is under no obligation to evaluate, respond to, or act on any submitted information; and (d) submission of information does not create any obligation on Altris Ventures to enter into a business relationship or investment transaction.
Altris Ventures does not agree to any confidentiality obligations arising from its receipt of unsolicited information submitted through the Site, except as set forth in a separate written confidentiality agreement signed by an authorized representative of Altris Ventures.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL ALTRIS VENTURES OR ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, REPRESENTATIVES, SUCCESSORS, OR ASSIGNS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, EVEN IF ALTRIS VENTURES HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO: (A) YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SITE; (B) ANY UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR USE OF OUR SERVERS AND/OR ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION STORED THEREIN; (C) ANY INTERRUPTION OR CESSATION OF TRANSMISSION TO OR FROM THE SITE; (D) ANY BUGS, VIRUSES, TROJAN HORSES, OR THE LIKE THAT MAY BE TRANSMITTED TO OR THROUGH THE SITE BY ANY THIRD PARTY; OR (E) ANY ERRORS OR OMISSIONS IN ANY CONTENT OR FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE OF ANY KIND INCURRED AS A RESULT OF YOUR USE OF ANY CONTENT POSTED, EMAILED, TRANSMITTED, OR OTHERWISE MADE AVAILABLE VIA THE SITE.
IN NO EVENT SHALL ALTRIS VENTURES' TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SITE EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Altris Ventures and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives, successors, and assigns from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of and access to the Site; (b) your violation of any term of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law, regulation, or rule; (d) your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any copyright, trademark, or privacy right; or (e) any claim that your submission of information caused damage to a third party.
This defense and indemnification obligation will survive these Terms and your use of the Site. Altris Ventures reserves the right, at its own expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, in which event you agree to cooperate with Altris Ventures' defense of such claim.
These Terms and your use of the Site shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, United States, without giving effect to any choice or conflict of law provision or rule. Any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of, or related to, these Terms or the Site shall be instituted exclusively in the federal courts of the United States or the courts of the State of New York, in each case located in the City of New York and County of New York.
You waive any and all objections to the exercise of jurisdiction over you by such courts and to venue in such courts. You agree that any cause of action arising out of or related to the Site or these Terms must commence within one (1) year after the cause of action accrued; otherwise, such cause of action is permanently barred.
Altris Ventures reserves the right to revise and update these Terms at any time in its sole discretion. All changes are effective immediately upon posting to the Site. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of revised Terms means that you accept and agree to the changes. You are expected to review these Terms periodically so you are aware of any changes, as they are binding on you.
